Opal Female Queen An Opal's hide is often a miriage of colours, most communly swirled with white and pink to equal the hotter and cooler colours. Of course, there has been the odd one without too much white, therefore resulting in clashing colours. Opals are lithe creatures, with rather broad wings. They can grow to be almost the size of a gold, but that's rare. They can chew, and can lay 16-35 eggs, depending on the male that caught. They are a rather calm dragon, but intelligent. Despite they slow tendencies, they are quite deep, and can see things in others that you wouldn't expect from such a slow, gentle creature. There have been time,s though, when an Opal is quite the opposite, challenging, rude, rash in judgement. They Impress to females with patience, for they need it to deal with an Opal, which ever personality she may be.
Garnet Male King or Middle Rank Garnet's have a vibrant red hide, and often have random spots of blue, in varying shades. They varry in size, sometimes as large as a bronze, sometimes much smaller, but each have a hard determination that allows them to try and fly queens. Garnet's are quick to anger, but easily listen to their riders. Despite that, they are self consious, but secretive about it. They usually put up a wall to protect there softer nature, even if only their riders know that. They Impress to males with similar personalities, with similar tendencies.
There's two, off the top of my head.

Aquamarine Either Low Rank Aquamarines range in color from sky blue to the blue of deep ocean waters, and an odd sheen makes their soft hides appear hard. They can be anywhere from the size of a small Green to a large Blue. They are tranquil dragons in general, though their personalities vary with their shade of blue: the paler they are, the more excitable they tend to be. They are the best Searchdragons, and are very fast and agile- these two traits are what make them valuable. They tend to Impress to their own gender, though crossovers have been known to occur, and their partner is usually a friendly person, with a bright sense of humor and optimistic outlook. Bird of Paradise (mostly called Paradise) Female Low Queen, or High Middle Rank Paradises are small for their rank, usually the size of a smallish Brown, and extremely daintily formed. They are gorgeous in hue, gentle yellow-orange fading in places to cream, always with periwinkle blue spinal ridges and paws. Their wingsails are always the same periwinkle. They are unique in that they alone of all dragons have a head crest, which shrinks and blends into their spinal ridges. This crest is the very image of their flower namesake. Paradises are capable of Clutching 10-25 eggs, but unless the Weyr is underpopulated usually chew firestone, which lowers their Clutching capability to 5-15. Personality-wise, Paradises are extremely intelligent, and have some of the best memories out of all dragonkind. They can either be quiet and gentle, or loud and brash, but always very friendly. They tend to Impress to the quiet sort, or those girls who need an excess of emotional support, but always intelligent girls with the qualities of good leadership. (I ADORE the Paradises! -gushes- My favorite flower-turned-dragoness!) (An alternate to the Paradises, or an addition:) Eternity Female Low Queen, or High Middle Rank Eternities are of the same size and form as Paradises, but here the similarity ends. They are a base of midnight black in color, with fade-ins of periwinkle blue in places and across their underbellies. In personality they are mysterious, either shy or aloof, and almost frighteningly quick- in both mind and physical speed. They remember details incredibly well. They are most comfortable at night, or during a rainstorm. They Impress to females of similar qualities. (I like them, too. ^-^)

Jasper Male Middle/Low Rank Jaspers are the most varied in color of all dragons. They can be dull red, yellow-brown, or dark green. Their color is only tied together by the black marbling they all share. In personality, Jaspers are steadfast and quiet, with a unique talent for understanding and manipulating the emotions of those around them. They often Impress to boys who need someone to calm them down. (Heehee... Jasper. XP -huggles the inspiration- You're so cute! =D)
Bloodstone Male Low Rank Bloodstones are a branchoff of the Jasper color. They are smaller than Jaspers, and all a dull, dark green dotted with bright red spots. They are somewhat wild, too adventurous for their own good, and love getting into trouble. As Hatchlings they are nearly unmanageable, complete terrors no one wants to have to deal with. They Impress to boys who are capable of calming them down.

Opal (my version) Male or Female Low Rank Opals are what remains of the color that used to be called White. Over time, the 'Whites' darkened in color and showed their full, fantastic potential: they glimmer, showing every color in their glorious hide. They are the smallest and rarest of dragons, sensitive and very intelligent, with a strange connection to firelizards. Often very stubborn, these dragons chew firestone. They are much less amorous than most dragons of their size, and males rarely Chase while females rarely Fly. Opals do not Clutch. They have incredibly close bonds with their riders, and Impress to people of similar nature, always a member of their own gender.

Dragon Name: Pyrite ((Fools Gold )) Gender: Female Appearance: These are rather tiny dragons; the largest of them about the size of a small green and the smallest only a little bit bigger than Ruth. Their hides tend to look like a gold's, but with only a little metallic gleen to it instead of the full shine of a true gold. Their bodies are well proportioned, though, so they are great with agility, though not so much with speed. Personality: Pyrites aren't anything like their large draconic sisters by any lengths of the personality when it comes to personality. Far from haughty, these dragons are usually quite humble, sweet, and unusually observative. They tend know all the happenings and events in the weyr without actively joining in with the other dragons in their endless gossip. Impression: The little dragonets of this color like to bond with females who are quieter and more meek. However, the more reclusive females don't appeal to them, for some reason. Occassionally, they'll bond with a male, but that is very rare and the boy has to be very, very gay. Flights: Pyrites aren't very flirtatious, and they have a habit of sticking to one male. Usually the first male that Catches a Pyrite tends to be the only one to ever Catch her unless the female's rider has a strong objection to her bonded's choice. Pyrites Flights are short, but full of agility and if you don't follow her every move; you aren't even considered when she goes to Choose. This means that the more agile, smaller dragons tend to Catch them. Clutches: The only time that a Pyrite will ever clutch is if she is Caught by a king of the weyr (e.g. a bronze), but since her Flights are always about agility, it is almost unheard of for that to happen. If it were to happen, the clutch would consist of one to four eggs, usually hatching only lower ranked dragons.

Damn, I hate you Nai! ^^ Before I left this morning, I was about to post my Birds of Paradise:
Birds of Paradise:
These colorful dragons are often a metallic orange that could be confused with a sunny Bronze's if not for the casual yellow and red threads through their hide, and their conspicuous wing coloration. The orange of their hide may even pick up on tones of pinks, browns, whites, blacks, and greens. The membranes of their wings -a curiosity- are spectacular in vivacious shades of purple. This purple has a wide range of color- from nearly-blue indigo to lavender so light it could be confused with white to royal purple to a dark violet close to black. There are so many different shading color combination possibilities in Birds of Paradise that it can be overwhelming, and some more 'unique' ones have been mistaken as a new mutation or different color altogether. But once one has met a Bird of Paradise, it's hard to mistake them for anything else. All of them have a tone which fully contains their fun-loving nature. Fo, all of these fine orange-purple dragons seek things like games. They often invent their own games, usually with absurd rules only they or another Bird of Paradise could understand. They are eager learners, for any knowledge might be turned into an ounce of amusement, and hard workers, since riders can easily trick them into thinking that work is a game. On the other hand, Bird of Paradise hate to lose, and are notorious sore losers, although they are good winners who congratulate the opponent without gloating. Birds are either gender and Impress to their own.

One of the two typical types is loud and brash. Oo;; As in, they jump in your face and start screaming at you about something or other. And the other type is extremely shy. So they're either hiding or screaming.
