-sighs- Fine. I'll compromise- your personality of BoP with my appearance. And I'll write it all spiffy, since that's what I'm going to do to all colors...

Gilded- These Queens are colored as their names states. Their hides can be any color of the spectrum but they have one determining factor. Their hides will always be covered in a sheen of golden color. This color shines with a splendor of pure gold, never any less than perfect. Their size depends on what their coloration is, and are slightly more lithe than other Queens. They have more grace in the air as well. The main color of their hide will give them personality traits of that color. Gildeds always have a base personality that goes with a gold though. They will clutch anywhere from 8-50 eggs, sometimes going higher. Almost every clutch has another Gilded in it. Clutching depends on their size and base coloration. (ex. a Gilded-green would clutch less than a gilded-bronze or brown)
Shades- These Kings are an interesting add, but they are the ones who match Gildeds closest. Their hides too are any color of the spectrum, and have one difference. Shades have a black spiral, starting from the tip of their nose it wrapes like a snake around their bodies. They also tend to have black on the forelegs and black wing membranes. Their bodies are well toned and they are very good at endurance, making them the normal mates of Gildeds. They are larger than normal Kings. As with Gildeds, their base color gives them part of their personality. They tend to have a dark side to them, often with sarcasm and dark humor involved. They can be stubborn as well. Shades can chase and catch any female in which they choose to. They usually sire good yet interesting clutches.

Smoke Male Low Rank These dragons can be a bit slow on the uptake. It is not that they are any less intelligent than any others, they simply cannot seem to concentrate on anything or anyone other than their rider. This is because they tend to follow their rider's train of thought, a trait which makes them wonderful at betweening and working with their rider, but terrible at coordinating with other members of the wing during Threadfall. They try to be incredibly involved in every aspect of their rider's life, and will do anything to please them. Occasionally a Smoke will warm up to another human or dragon, usually someone that their rider likes very much. In general their hides are varying shades of grey and steel-blue like light whisps of smoke, though some can have darker coloring akin to the smoke of an out of control fire. They do not grow very large, often being the smallest dragons in the weyr. Tend to Impress to interesting young men or women who like to think a lot.
Blush Female Low Rank Incredibly interested in those around them, Blushes will talk to just about anyone , and simply can't seem to take a hint when the person or dragon they are speaking to does not wish to talk to them. They will rarely talk about themselves, preferring to know everything about everyone else. Needless to say, they are often typified as the gossips of the weyr, though they usually mean well. In color, they range from a light (almost white) pink to a dark pink, never quite red. They are some of the smallest dragons, though they do not seem to notice. Do not show any real pattern in Impression, though they rarely go for anyone with a dark personality. (Impress male and female)

Mmm. I'm going to start adding these as ranks...
Yes, you should make a color version of the now decease lovely Amanth. ^^
So far, I'd like to use all here, but Nai and Krisley need to compromise on the Opals. Plus, I don't think we'll use Bloodstones since that's another name for Heliotrope, and their color and personalities and Impressers are too much like the Abuton Heliotropes...
We need more low/mid ranks, and males. 'Grats to Hockey for not making any Queens. ^^
I don't MIND having alot of high ranks, as long as it's proportionate to the other colors. Keep in mind I saved some female colors. So what we really, really need are males or either genders.
(Gilded + Shade = Lightmoon Love. ^^)

Hehe, we have Gilded dragons in another Weyr I'm in. They are females who appear to be Queens when they hatch, but their golden hides fade to grey in their first turn and they never grow larger than a small Green. They are very grumpy runts.

-laghs- That's a fun Gilded....
It's a lower ranked male dragon on Abuton. Bloodstone's exactly like i, whether you meant for it to be or not, so we aren't going to do it...just out of courtesy...and I don't know about your Opals, Nai, since we killed off the Whites; doesn't exactly fit.
XP Not tryinbg to bash you at all, Nai-chan, but just weeding out the garden patch!
Maybe we should scratch Eternities? Lots of Queens, and they aren't as spiffy as some other ones...

Ruby- These mid-ranking dragons are normally laid-back and easygoing, and are often large mischief-makers as well. They can become absolutely ferocious if irked however, even if it takes a lot to do so. Many people compare them to canines, actually. They're normally colored anywhere from a dark, blood red to the pure red of the gem they were named for. However, there have been several instances of Rubies being so dark they looked almost black, and sometimes even a pale pink. These dragons are often male, with the occasional non-clutching female, and Impress to either gender, but once again, they seem more favorable toward males.

I've always said that Myth from old Yandrei was my best invention...
Myth Male Middle Myths are by far one of the most interesting dragons of the weyr. They may be any color when hatched, but all have one trait in common- th power to become invisible. It's not that they are magic in the slightest; they were just hatched that way. When young, these dragonettes cannot control their ability, often sliding in and out of being there and not being there. Control becomes better the larger they become, but they never truly master it until after five or so Turns. Some especially gifted ones are able to extend invisibility to people or objects around them, such as their rider. Myths are male, and very, very, very rarely female, so they are classified as male. They Impress males and females in equal measures. They have no set personality, but a common trait might be their modesty.

Creamsicle Male or Female Low Rank Creamsicles are very interestingly colored dragons and are generally smaller than most dragons in the weyr. Their hides vary greatly from dragon to dragon, though they all contain three major colors: orange, yellow, and white. These colors are differently placed on every dragon, no two Creamsicles look the same. They can are striped, spotted, have random splotches of color, some even have a similar coloration to a koi fish, and there have been many other variations. Their personalities also vary, but, in general, almost all Creamsicles are imaginative, inventive, and very sensitive and compassionate, making them wonderful listeners. They also seem to have a strong connection with, and therefore attract fire lizards, both wild and tame, and can make them obey. Creamsicles can be male or female, but will always impress to their own gender.
(I had to add the koi part in there, it'd be so cool to have a koi colored dragon. ^^)
