Personality: Cyrin is very nice and social but a little cocky. He will talk to just about anyone although he sometimes offends with out meaning to since he doesn't really know the meaning of politiocal correctness. He is mostly fearless and he can be both brave and heroic and ridiculously reckless. He is always looking for something to do and can't stand being bored. He hates authority and can't stand being given orders, that is unless they come from a pretty lady.
History: Cyrin was born into an extremely poor family. Knowing they couldn't take care of him, his parents left him at the nearby Weyr, hoping the prosperous institution could take care of him and hopefully he might even grow up to be a rider. Cyrin grew up knowing this and has always excepted his past with no remorse or regret, in fact he was just happy that his parents did their best for his future. He grew up with the riders and dragons and was excepted as a candidate on his 17 birthday. He is happy to be a candidate but due to his upbringing, he has always been somewhat bored with dragons and now hopes for something...different.
