Name: Robyn
Age: 16
Rank: Candidate
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Gender: Female
Description:
Aqua blue eyes are set large on an oval-shaped face. Straight brown hair just brushes her rounded, small shoulders, lightly flipping out the ends. An averagely long nose comes to a slightly rounded tip, dotted with a freckle or two; just enough to be cute. Full lips, usually slightly chapped, tend to be opened in a wide smile. Her teeth are slightly yellowed from being knocked out before they were even loose. Small ears are revealed when Robyn's hair gets bothersome and forced behind them.
Her frame is thin and proportionately curved. Short, she still has to ask sometimes if she needs something on the tallest shelf, or, knowing her, she'll just climb. Some say her appearance is silghtly boyish due to her calloused hands and smaller curves, but then again, her body is small why shouldn't her curves? She tends to wear long tunics over tight breeches, usually utilizing a slanted hemline at the bottom of the tunic to make herself look taller. Robyn likes bright tops with generally beige bottoms, showing off her noticeable eyes and tan complexion. A few freckles on her cheeks complete her appearance, leaving her pretty but far from breath-taking.
Personality:
Intellegent, almost to a fault, Robyn calculates everything. Most of the time, everything's an equation instead of enotions. The only time the math and science disappear is when she conciously decides that it's time to let loose. When that happens, she transforms into a fun loving flirt. She doesn' differentiate between male and female in that department. If the the flirting is returned, she continues, if it is rejected, no matter how subtly, she picks up on that fact and ceases.
Socially, the youth has many friends by tends to keep secrets to herself. Robyn had trust issues, too many people had betrayed her, losing whatever confidence she ever had in people. She keeps people close, but not close enough to allow them to be any help when she truly needs it.
When it comes to being a leader, she's better than most but far from what's required to be a goldrider. She isn't overly fond of being in charge, but she steps up when needed. Robyn would rather dance to her own music than have others ahead of her or beneath her. This attitude blankets all of her activities, no matter what.
History:
Born and raised in Harper Hall, she was a disappointment to her heavily music-orientated family. Her mother and father were both masterharpers before a small epidemic swept through the hold that they were visiting. Robyn and two of her brothers survived, but her parents and baby sister succumbed to the disease. They returned to the hall to be fostered out. She received a new family, but it wasn't the same anymore. By the time that her older brothers had received their journeymans' knots, Robyn had retreated to the kitchens. Scorned and shamed, she became sullen and moody; it wasn't her fault that she wasn't at all musical, there was nothing she could do about it.
Two turns ago, the rejected orphan was searched from the kitchens, changing everything. She was given a new life, new friends, and a chance to find a mindmate who she can trust with everything, no matter what. Eager, she stood twice, failing both times. This time, she transferred to a new weyr, undaunted and still optimistic. She plans on succeeding, but even if she doesn't, weyr life is much better than Harper Hall for the eager girl.
