Sand-
Ranging from a light brown to yellow-orange to tan to beige, with markings like seaweed, seashells, and seafoam, the Sands are interestingly colored. The color of the wing membranes signifies gender; females having coloring anywhere from a pale orange to peach to pink, while males coloration is anyhwere from light blue to dark green to teal. Very rarely is violet wing membranes, which can occur on either male or female. Their scales have odd sandy edges, and are roungh to the touch. But these dragons do not itch as much as they grow up, therefore do not need to be oiled as much. Sands are witty and clever dragons, who love to insult others. Causing mass chaos is their goal, which they can use to be either benevolent or malevolent. These dragons always /have/ to know what's going on; but they learn their information by other means than gossiping. Sands are either gender and Impress their own.
Color: Coral, Lightyellow, Skyblue
Coast-
These dragons are generally larger and bulkier than the middle ranking males, sometimes even rivaling a high ranking male. However, they probably have the best endurance of the dragons. Coasts range from a dark brown to an earthy tan and their spikes, talons, and wing membranes are forest green in color. Being very quiet, resourceful, and ambitious, they are the strong and silent type of the dragon species. They are also affectionate and kind, as well as being extremely calm and patient, but not at all lazy. However, Coasts can also be tremendously stubborn and determined. When their mind is set, it's probably not going to change. Also being very loyal and reliable, they will make for a wonderful friend and companion.

Jasper-
Jaspers are the most varied in color of all dragons. They can be dull red, yellow-brown, or dark green. Their color is only tied together by the black marbling they all share. In personality, Jaspers are steadfast and quiet, with a unique talent for understanding and manipulating the emotions of those around them. They often Impress to boys who need someone to calm them down.

Ruby-
These mid-ranking dragons are normally laid-back and easygoing, and are often large mischief-makers as well. They can become absolutely ferocious if irked however, even if it takes a lot to do so. Many people compare them to canines, actually. They're normally colored anywhere from a dark, blood red to the pure red of the gem they were named for. However, there have been several instances of Rubies being so dark they looked almost black, and sometimes even a pale pink. These dragons are often male, with the occasional non-clutching female, and Impress to either gender, but once again, they seem more favorable toward males.

Blush-
Incredibly interested in those around them, Blushes will talk to just about anyone, and simply can't seem to take a hint when the person or dragon they are speaking to does not wish to talk to them. They will rarely talk about themselves, preferring to know everything about everyone else. Needless to say, they are often typified as the gossips of the weyr, though they usually mean well. In color, they range from a light (almost white) pink to a dark pink, never quite red. They are some of the smallest dragons, though they do not seem to notice. Blushes o not show any real pattern in Impression, though they rarely go for anyone with a dark personality. They are female, and Impress both young men and women.

Myth-
Myths are by far one of the most interesting dragons of the weyr. They may be any color when hatched, but all have one trait in common- th power to become invisible. It's not that they are magic in the slightest; they were just hatched that way. When young, these dragonettes cannot control their ability, often sliding in and out of being there and not being there. Control becomes better the larger they become, but they never truly master it until after five or so Turns. Some especially gifted ones are able to extend invisibility to people or objects around them, such as their rider. Myths are male, and very, very, very rarely female, so they are classified as male. They Impress males and females in equal measures. They have no set personality, but a common trait might be their modesty.
Color: Will be given at hatching
Cream
Creams have creamy white hides that are swirled with some dark color such as navy or black, giving this dragon a subtle, soft appearance. Although not high ranking, and rather small, these dragons are very rare and given the title 'Queen', mainly for their large clutching capacity. Creamriders are not called Weyrwomen, although they may rise to that rank if there is no one else to lead the Weyr. These dragons are unusual in the fact that they only clutch low ranked dragons, except for in time of need. Stress and the power of leading the Queenless Weyr causes them to clutch a Queen, mainly to take their spot, since Creams loath being in the spotlight. They prefer to be in a happy solitude with just their rider or a select few they adore, or of in their own dream worlds. The dark-and-cream dragons are the dreamers and thinkers of the Weyr, and often talk of whimsical and magical things that are nowhere near reality, although they always include an ounce of truth in such tales.

Forest-
Forests range from a a deep, emerald green to a darker, forest green, maybe even an earthy brown/green, and they generally have lighter green talons, spikes, and wing membranes. They are practical and very modest, and hardly ever think highly of themselves. They are much more likely to praise another than give themselves any credit. Forests would much rather watch something than join in. They are also particularly neat and orderly, very fussy about things, and tend to be perfectionists. If anything is out of order in their weyr, or any other place a Forest has spent any amount of time in, it will probably be fixed immediately. In all, Forests are very interesting dragons and are always thinking, as well as organizing. Forests are always female, and mainly Impress to females.
